Turčianske Teplice

Spa  Turčianske Teplice lies  in south-eastern part of Turiec region, 24 km from town Martin and 35 km from town Banska Bystrica. The biggest natural wealth of  Turčianske Teplice are mineral springs and thermal waters, first mentioned in 1281. The park with scarce wooden plants  of a botanic garden aimed at cultivating  and grafting the tropical plants, especially orchieds are a part of spa area.

Spa Rajecké Teplice belongs among the most beautifully located spa towns  in Slovakia. It lies in picturesque part of Slovakia, in the ralley of river Račianka, 15 km south from Žilina.

The famous spa town is situated in the south foot of Nízke Beskydy mountain range. It has a rich history, which began in 1505, later spa was visited by the important and famous people of the era e.g.  Empress Elizabeth - Sissi, Russian czar Alexander I., Maria Louisa- Napoleon´s wife.

Piešťany

Piešťany is the best-know and the most visited spa town in Slovakia. It is only 86 km far from the capital city Bratislava and 140 km from Vienna. Spa lies in beautiful  surroundings of parks, called Spa Isle, where are located also spa houses and health facilities. An unusually remarkable local phenomenon is the spontaneous replenishment of Piešťany´s mud. A sulphuric mud is extracted, worked and matured in special pools for one year under interaction of thermal mineral water and then is used for partial or whole body mudpacks, unprecedented in their healing effects for inflammatory diseases in Europe and probably in the whole world.

The spa is located at the foot of Spišská Magura. The first written record about the spa is from the year 1549.

Spa Nový Smokovec belongs to the most signifficant climatic spa. It is located in the centre of National Park High Tatras, at the foot of Slavkovský peak. As a climatic spa of alpinic character it has ideal south location - in a middle of coniferous forests, surrounded by stately peaks of High Tatras from the north side. Clear air, low pressure of the air, average humidyty, balanced average temperature create excellent conditions for remedial stays.

Dudince

Spa Dudince belongs to the youngest spa in Slovakia and is located in southern part of Central Slovakia on the foot of Krupinská planina in clean environment free of exhausts and industry. Dudince is known as a place with the highest sunshine and temperate winters. Archaeological findings show the evidence that even Roman soldiers were regularly bathing in travertine openings. Therefore the place is still called the Roman Spa.According to available information, water with a similar composition to that at Dudince can be only found in Japan and at the famous French spa Vichy.
